Tribute to American hero Toby Keith: Austin Burke, Jelly Roll and others raise red Solo Cup

After Keith’s family announced his death on social media, artists including Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean, Old Dominion, Jelly Roll, Zach Bryan, Randy Houser, William Michael Morgan, Austin Burke and James Otto paid tribute to him.

Keith was known for the song “Red Solo Cup”, and in celebration of his passing many artists paid tribute to him by raising a red Solo Cup. Austin Burke tweeted, “Tonight we’ll pay tribute to Toby Keith by raising the Red Solo Cup. You left an indelible mark on country music and you will be greatly missed.”

“Toby inspired millions and I was one of them. I sang his ‘Should’ve Been a Cowboy’ song at every show last year,” Jelly Roll wrote on his Instagram Story. He further added, “His music will live forever!”

Carrie Underwood shared several photos with Keith on Instagram, writing, “Prepare the horses for Jesus, cause a true blue cowboy has just ridden into heaven! Get ’em all the Okies and get ’em in the choir Join in! We’ll miss you, Toby, but there’s no doubt in my heart that you’re standing in the presence of our King right now! See ya, buddy.”

Toby Keith died at the age of 62. Toby was not only a singer but also a lyricist and actor. He released 19 studio albums, 61 No. 1 hits and received numerous awards in his career. He was consider a legend in the music industry and his demise is a big loss for the entire country.
